German Afrika Korps
The armoured forces of the Deutsches Afrikakorps (DAK) swept their way across the sands of the Western Desert in an armoured spearhead of Hanomags and Panzers III, under the command of Erwin Rommel.
They Battled their way across the Desert from Tobruk to El Alamein and back, in running battles with the British Desert Rats and Commonwealth troops, playing a deadly game of 'cat and mouse' amid the desolate dunes and wadis of North Africa.
Start your desert force by choosing one of the great sets below, or follow the standard Reinforced Platoon structure (with unit options & points listed on pages 17 - 78 of your Armies of Germany book) to choose your force.
