US Army
By utilising the industrial infrastructure of the Detroit auto factories, the US Army was able to out-produce the Axis forces - with the likes of the ubiquitous Sherman tank being produced by the tens-of-thousands. With the trusty Garand rifle, Thompson SMG, Browning MGs, and (when a little more punch was needed) the Bazooka - the GIs were well equipped and supplied to take the fight from the D-Day beaches, through the Normandy bocage, with Patton's boys stopping only when they'd reached the banks of the Rhine.
US Army in winter gear
Our US Winter range is designed for the winter of 1944-45, showing how unprepared for the truly bitter weather, which hit Europe that year, the US forces really were. View Winter Range

M10 Tank Destroyer/Wolverine (Plastic Box)The M10's M7 3-inch (76.2mm) anti-tank gun was a considerable improvement over the 75mm carried by the Sherman. The M10’s relatively thin 37mm of armour (and open-topped five-sided welded turret) on the other hand made it vulnerable to anti-tank weapons, so its main role...
